Your local arts and crafts supplier situated on beautiful Lake Pepin, the home of water skiing.
Who are we?
Creative Minds of Lake City was established in August of 2011.
A few people were sitting around a local fire and said to each other,
“I really wish I didn’t have to travel 45 minutes one way, just to buy some arts and crafts supplies. ”
So they got together and established a local shop which;
- Sells consigned home decor and art/crafts made by local talent.
- Provides an online e-commerce site to sell them, which helps promote Lake City, Minnesota.
- Supplies the community with basic art supplies, saving them time and money by not having to travel a great distance.
- Creates a “fun” place to go for kids by providing a free play room for them while the parents shop, or go to the library across the street.
- Lets talented local crafters use the same room to conduct classes, educating others in the community. You can reserve a spot in anyone of the classes we provide by going to our Creative Events section.
We feel the end result will help nurture the Creative Mind in all of us.
When are we open?
- Monday – Friday: 10:00am to 6:00pm
- Saturday: 10:00am to 5:00pm
- Sunday: Closed unless it is a holiday shopping weekend.
